1. The geometrical form of a trapezoidal plate does not mark only its aesthetic aspect, but also its carrying capacity.
The height of the trapezoidal element is directly proportional to the carrying capacity of the plate, while the pitch between the trapezoidal elements points out the higher or lower walkability.
The correct choice of the trapezoidal plate depends on:
• bearing typ (one or two bearings);
• allowable deformation camber (the maximum camber is of 1/200 of the span among the bearings);
• material and thickness of the plates (all the profiles can be realized in different materials or thicknesses, having so different static weights and characteristics).

2. The Silmasistem metallic ventilated façade can be used either in the new buildings or in the recovery of the old buildings. Thanks to the possibility of vertical and horizontal use of the profiles and thanks to the wide range of materials and colours that we put at disposal of the Client, it is possible to personalize the building strongly with a great aesthetic impact.
Besides these aesthetic advantages there are also the technical ones, such as:
• Air circulation: in the coating, an air gap develops, promoting the natural ventilation of the façade.
• Reduction of the thermal load on the building, due to the reflection of the sun rays on the metallic coating and to the air circulation in the inner interspace.
• Elimination of the thermal bridges: in the Silmasistem façace system you can have a continuous and homogeneous thermal insulation by reducing strongly the thermal dispersion.
• Sound insulation: The Silmasistem metallic ventilated façade attenuates any external noise thanks to the noise reflection on the metallic coating and to the sound absorption of the insulating material.
• Reduction of the ordinary maintenance: the Silmasistem façade does not need a special maintenance. For cleaning, it is sufficient a washing with the hydrocleaner.
